Which Way to Go…

Happy August!

We have been trying to get back on our regular early waking schedule after our busy weeks of moving and being sick.  SO today I finally had got an a.m. run in and it felt great!  I have decided that maybe my foot might feel better if I split my long runs into 2 different runs during the day.  We will see how that goes.

Did a 5.75 miler around the park.  I am starting to get to know it a little better now.  There are so many hills, stairs and forks it’s difficult deciding which way to go!?

I went left.  It’s longer.  boy was it hot and humid out though.  For the first time in a while I found it difficult to breathe.  It was good run and after I came home and had some oatmealy, peanutbuttery, chocolatey, yogurty, protein filled breakfast.  Who knows.  I make it up as I go along.

Now I am chomping on my fave frozen grapes.  No really, try it.

Oh yeah we tried some new coffee this morning also…  Creme brulee flavored.  I know it sounds like it would be wonderful.. but it wasn’t so much.  We may have to end up mixing it with real coffee.  SO much for trying new things.

Speaking of new things, I used my new Wimbledon towel today to wipe my sweat.  It makes me feel pretty awesome.  Like a real athlete.  Thanks Zoe!

Oh and J made me some trout last night which was pretty amazing so we are going to have more tonight.  Can’t wait!  Right now I am listening to him banging on the keys.  Niiiiice.. have a great day!
